It was an honor to be invited to speak at the 1st Visayas Bloggers Summit in Iloilo last November 27, 2010.After hearing seasoned bloggers/speakers such as Janette Toral (digitalfilipino.com), Aileen Apolo of Google, Ria Jose, Anton Sheker, and a few others, the whole day summit was capped by this session on "Why Visayans Should Blog".
In the opening part of the talk, I had to state that while there were credentials behind me to talk about blogging from the point of view of a media strategist currently involved in digital media, my main credential would still be the fact that I am a Visayan.
